Prospective MEPS students should contact Beth McClosky at the address given below. Admission to Texas A&M University is the first step in matriculating into the MEPS program. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their official transcripts, letters of recommendation, GRE and TOEFL scores, as well as, research interests and experience. Applications are accepted at any time but should be completed no later than January 1 if the applicant is to be considered for financial support for fall semester entry. Travel funds may be provided for qualified applicants to visit the campus and faculty.
Most students will need to secure a faculty advisor prior to being admitted. Top students may be granted a rotational admission which allows them to rotate through two or three labs during their first year before joining a lab, but is it recommended that all students reach out to those faculty whose research aligns with their career goals to learn of positions available in those programs.
Texas A&M University has a strong institutional commitment to the principle of diversity in all areas. In that spirit, admission to Texas A&M and any of its sponsored programs is open to all qualified individuals.
